The Center for Disease Control has recommended the use of cloth face masks to help fight the spread of COVID-19.
This face mask is made from 100% polyester and includes two ear loops with adjustable grommets for a comfortable fit.
The printed area of the mask is approximately 7" wide by 5" tall. This mask fits well on adult mens' faces without the grommets but, due to the adjustable grommets, can be worn snuggly by adult women, as well.
Please note - this is NOT a surgical grade mask. It is not intended for any medical or commercial uses, whatsoever. It is a simple, cloth mask designed for everyday use to cover your mouth when out in public. The mask should not be used in any medical or surgical setting.
We make no warranties that the mask prevents infections or the transmission of viruses or diseases.

"The Prism of Abolitionism" is a Paintoem for the spring - summer 2021 open call by Freedom and Captivity for their Art on Abolition Contest. The painting was from an already existing work called "Tear Down This Wall." It was created as a gift to Critical Resistance's 20th anniversary. Critical Resistance seeks to build an international movement to end the Prison Industrial Complex by challenging the belief that caging and controlling people makes us safe.
The poem is a new work. The verse about "Angela Davis's prism," initially had Michele Alexander's name. Alexander widely known for authoring "The New Jim Crow: Mass Incarceration in the Age of Colorblindness." Patrisse Khan-Cullors, co-founder of the Black Lives Matter hashtag was another notable abolitionist considered. "In reality," says prisoner-artist C-Note, "Angela Davis has been the Lone Wolf screaming and preaching about prison abolition when it was not fashionable to do so."
