"Colored Girl Warholed" is one of C-Note's most famous artworks. It was included in the articles "25 of Prison Art's Most Beautiful Women," "Celebrating Black Women Through Art," "1 Billboard Accomplishes 2 Objectives," and countless other articles associated with the billboard art installation exhibition, "Look Up!" 2, Hope and Beauty, Dec. 27, 2021 - Jan. 31, 2022, Santa Row, San Jose, Silicon Valley, California, which featured "Colored Girl Warholed."
In 2015, C-Note created his Andy Warhol inspired work, "Colored Girl Warholed." It is fashioned after Warhol’s "Four Marilyns." C-Note’s "Colored Girl Warholed" uses his 2009, artwork "Colored Girl." Prints of "Colored Girl Warholed" went on sale in the spring of 2015. In the fall of 2015, the auction house Christie’s sold Warhol’s "Four Marilyns" for $36 million.
