"Bernice King," has only dim memories of her father, said Ed Pilkington in the Guardian UK. Martin Luther King's daughter was just five years old when he was assassinated in Memphis, 50 years ago this month. Her memories consist of fragments and images, some her own and others shared with her by relatives... One that stands out, is the Kissing Game." Her father would point to his forehead while holding her. He would invite her to kiss it. He called it a sugar spot, she says. "The struggle is a never-ending process," says her mom.
